South Carolina Wedding Venue
Carlie and I met years ago, back when we were pre-teens. However, I had no idea that I was going to follow a dream of becoming a wedding photographer over 10 years later.
I hadn’t seen her in quite some time when she emailed me about shooting her wedding. Immediately, I knew that it would be unique and quirky just like her. Riverbanks Botanical Gardens was the perfect choice.
Charlotte, NC Engagement Session
John and I finally met in person a few months later at their engagement session. We will definitely post those later because they are truly some of my favorite Charlotte engagement photos.
I absolutely loved working with them and had such a great time laughing through Romare Bearden Park together. It was our first downtown e-sesh in CLT and I fell head over heels for the architecture.
Riverbanks Botanical Gardens Wedding
I wish I could even express my love for this South Carolina Wedding Venue. It is, by far, one of my all time favorites. If you are looking for something unique and fun, but still elegant, it’s my first recommendation.
Who knew that you could actually get married at the zoo??
Carlie’s mother told us that she searched for months before she found the perfect venue. But once she found Riverbanks Botanical Gardens, she was sold.
The gardens are filled with thousands of species of flowers and plants. In the springtime, everything is blooming and growing. It’s incredible.
There is a cascading waterfall leading from the top of the venue all the way down to the bottom into a large fountain. The ceremony spot overlooks the falls and the sun sets behind them both.
I know I’ve sold you, right?
