Some weddings feel like magic from start to finish-and Liz and Colton’s day at the Inn on Biltmore Estate was just that.
Set against sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, their ceremony took place on a hilltop that looked like it was pulled straight from a fairytale. The weather toyed with us a bit (as it always does in the mountains), but the clouds broke just in time to cast a soft glow over the whole scene. Dreamy doesn’t even begin to cover it. Not to mention, we had the absolute perfect weather. Couldn’t have asked for better!
Their intimate ceremony overlooked rolling hills and lush forests, with the iconic silhouette of the Biltmore House in the distance. Liz walked down the aisle in a classic strapless gown with the most elegant slit, holding a bouquet of white roses and baby’s breath. Colton, in a white tux jacket and black bow tie, couldn’t stop smiling the second he saw her. Neither could anyone else, honestly.

Portraits Around the Estate
After the ceremony, we wandered the grounds of the Biltmore Estate for portraits-and let me just say, every corner of that property is cinematic. We took full advantage of the sweeping lawns, stone staircases, and, of course, the breathtaking view of the mansion. These two have such a natural chemistry that photographing them felt effortless. Just two people completely smitten with each other, surrounded by ridiculous beauty.
And can we talk about Liz’s bridesmaids? They wore soft blue gowns that looked amazing against the lush green backdrop. The whole wedding party had this easygoing energy that made everything feel like a celebration from the start.

A Candlelit Reception at the Inn
For the reception, everyone moved into the Inn’s Vanderbilt Ballroom—warm candlelight, white florals, and soft gold accents set the tone. It was elegant without being stuffy, timeless without being too traditional. A live band kept the energy high, and the dance floor stayed full all night.
Their cake was a towering, four-tiered beauty with handmade sugar flowers that looked almost too perfect to eat. Almost.

Final Thoughts
From that first look at the altar to their candlelit first dance, Liz and Colton’s wedding was one of those days that felt like a breath of fresh air-classic, elegant, and entirely their own. The Inn on Biltmore Estate was the perfect setting for their celebration: romantic, tucked away in the mountains, and full of history and charm.
If you’re dreaming of a wedding with mountain views, castle vibes, and a venue that feels like a real-life escape, this is the spot. And if you’re lucky enough to have a couple like Liz and Colton in front of your camera? Even better.
